These Regional Championships minimise the traveling commitment and costs, allowing more competitors to experience the taste and feel of a Championship. Also, more Clubs have the option of becoming involved allowing them a greater share of the entries and revenue. Racers, who then prove to be good enough, will qualify from the Regions for a one weekend Finals event.
These Entries boost the normal club grids benefiting all, from the Club Driver to the Club itself. e.g. the Manchester & Buxton club with 53 ‘0’ plate entries. i.e. up to £3,975 extra in race / practice fees, Larkhall with 35 Series entries ( £ 2,625) ; Glan Y Gors with 19 Series entries
( £ 1,425); Clay Pigeon, Forest Edge and Buckmore with 53 Series Entries ( £ 3,979) and of course provides home advantage for the Club members involved.
To summarise, the N.K.R.A. promotes, supports and protects Karting not only for the racers, but also the Clubs, without whom Kart Racing would have no base !
