MORRIS MOTORS TO NEW LAP RECORD

A perfect spring weekend greeted the NKRA Southern competitors at Buckmore Park.

After a very sharp and prolonged winter, this warm Round 2 event in April was a welcome relief to all involved.

In Cadet Comer Harrison Thomas reinforced his Series lead with a win. He was followed by Matteo Zanetti and Bradley Drowne.

Robbie Gallier took a clean sweep in Cadet Honda to take the Series lead. Second on the day was Charlie Harris with George Thompson in 3^rd.

Peter Griffin moves up into the Series lead after a dominant weekend in Mini Max. Harry Sturt and David Wright finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively.

New boy, Alex Morris, dominated in Junior Blue promoting himself to the Series lead, albeit without a drop option ! Behind him Ashley Goodliffe and Ben Sutton fought it out right up to the flag.

Formula Blue had the biggest grid on the day where local boy Sam Smithson claimed the day from Craig Copeland. Behind these two Mark Wylde held off Robin Brotherwood. Drive of the day came from Duncan Mcleod who finished 6^th in the final having had to start last because of a pre-final failure.

Another local boy, Joel Roundacre, made good in Rotax Max with another dominant win. The Series lead, however, rests with George Lovell by virtue of his superior drop option.

For Round 3, the N.K.R.A Southern group moves centrally to Forest Edge on may 2^nd.
