SCOTTISH CHAMPIONSHIP STARTS TO TAKE SHAPE

After round 2 of the NKRA Scottish Championships at Golspie on April 25th, the leader board in each class starts to take shape.
In Cadet Comer the front two Jamie Fraser and Jack Brailsford again shared the points remaining in equal first.
Jordan Donaldson finished equal first in Cadet Honda to keep him ahead of Samuel McKenzie on the drop option.
In Minimax Frazer Huntly kept a clean sheet to take the lead from Bibi Aldrick.
A full grid of Junior Blues saw Robbie Dalgleish prove that his earlier 1st round win was no fluke. He remains in the lead form Blair Campbell and Callum Miller.
Douglas Simpson maintains his pole position in Formula Blue. He reinforced his earlier lead with a lights to flag win. Still in contact at this early stage of the Championship is the reigning National champion Fraser Wallace from David Wagner and Adam Barbour. Brian Lees heads Steve Barlow in the Top Weight section with Stuart Gray fresh from his O’ plate win leading Brian Lees as a Master. Gray also heads the Veteran group from Steve Barlow.
Craig Finlayson has recently joined in Rotax Max and leads, awaiting the inclusion of other Rotax drivers.
Round 3 of the Scottish Championship moves across to the East of Scotland this coming weekend ( 2nd May) to race at the Crail circuit.
