DALGLEISH & YOUNG SCORE EMPHATIC WINS IN SCOTLAND

There were, pole to chequered flag wins for Alan Young and Robbie Dalgleish at Larkhall in the fifth round of the AquaSky Scottish Blue Challenge on June 6^th.

In Junior Blue the minimum points score for Dalgleish moved him further into the Series lead. Behind, Neville Parrott capitalised on Callum Miller’s problems in the final to wrest 2^nd overall place away from him. Charles Wagner was 2^nd overall on the day, allowing him to move up a Series place to 5^th.

In Formula Blue, Young’s strong result meant that he leapfrogged Calvin Watson into 3^rd place overall. Douglas Simpson finished 2^nd putting himself only 1 point behind reigning Champion Fraser Wallace for the Series lead. Stuart Grey’s 4^th place on the day has reinforced his lead in the Master section over Ian Brown. He also leads Steve Barlow in the Veteran group. Ian Brown, in turn remains ahead of Steve Barlow in the Top Weight section.

The Junior and Formula Blues now move off to Banff in a back to back pair of race meetings which will quite probably have a serious impact in the Challenge final placings.
